Insiders sell for many routine reasons (taxes, diversification, scheduled plans). An open-market purchase means the insider is spending their own money, not exercising options or receiving stock as pay. v1 focuses on purchase filings (SEC transaction code "P").
InsiderPing does not currently alert on Form 4 purchase lines reported in a currency other than U.S. dollars. A ticker with no alerts may still have insider activity filed in another currency; InsiderPing does not yet cover it.
No. InsiderPing is an information tool that surfaces public filings faster. It is not investment, financial, or tax advice and makes no recommendation to buy or sell anything.
Install InsiderPing free from the Chrome Web Store, then upgrade to Pro ($39, one time) right inside the extension — unlimited tickers, faster checks, and cluster-buy alerts. "Lifetime" means for as long as we operate the Pro tier; if we ever discontinue it, we'll give at least 30 days' notice. All sales are final once you have access, except where the law requires otherwise — and if the extension doesn't work as described, email us and we'll make it right. Payment is handled by our payment processor's own hosted checkout page — InsiderPing never sees or stores your card details. Your install is identified to the checkout by an anonymous device token, not by any account; a small backend service checks whether that token has paid and unlocks Pro. If you reinstall or switch machines, use "Restore with your key" to reconnect a paid install to your purchase.
