Questions

Where does the data come from?

Directly from the SEC's public EDGAR system — the same Form 4 filings insiders are legally required to submit. InsiderPing just watches them for you and flags the buys.

Why only "buys"?

Insiders sell for many routine reasons (taxes, diversification, scheduled plans). An open-market purchase — spending their own money — is the signal most traders watch. v1 focuses on purchase filings (SEC transaction code "P").

Is this investment advice?

No. InsiderPing is an information tool that surfaces public filings faster. It is not investment, financial, or tax advice and makes no recommendation to buy or sell anything.

How do I get Pro?

Install InsiderPing free from the Chrome Web Store, then upgrade to Pro ($39, one time) right inside the extension — unlimited tickers, faster checks, cluster-buy alerts, and role/dollar filters. "Lifetime" means for as long as we operate the Pro tier; if we ever discontinue it, we'll give at least 30 days' notice. All sales are final once you have access, except where the law requires otherwise — and if the extension doesn't work as described, email us and we'll make it right. Payment is processed by Stripe via ExtensionPay, and InsiderPing never sees your card details.
